Dances at the Bay, free dance festival for all ages at Bayfront Park, July 17-19 weekend

HCA Society (formerly HCA Dance + Theatre) is thrilled to present Dances at the Bay, an outdoor dance festival bringing movement, creativity, and community to Hamilton’s Bayfront Park from July 17-19, 2026 at 7:00 PM. Enjoy inspiring performances from Canadian dance companies, including Little Pear Garden Dance Co., Frog in Hand, Projects by Zoe Kwan, and special collaborative community dance performances by choreographer Bri Clarke and the Hamilton Regional Indian Centre. Created by Hamilton, for Hamilton. Dances at the Bay invites audiences of all ages to connect, celebrate community, and experience the joy of live performance against the stunning backdrop of the waterfront. Each festival day also begins with a free line-dancing workshop at 6:30 PM that is beginner friendly and open to all skill levels. Come participate and get moving before enjoying the evening performances.
