Dee Dee King and Company are back again this year by popular demand to present an unforgettable Mother's Day Celebration like none other. Last year's 2024 concert was beyond epic and has been one of the most talked about events at The Old Theater and in eastern NC in years. This Mother's Day 2025 celebration is no exception and is anticipated to be even bigger and more special than last year. Mothers of all ages will be pampered with the best music imaginable from an all-star band, including the impeccable vocals and soul-stirring performance by award-winning musical and vocal phenomenon, Dee Dee King. Expect a musical journey that will take you down memory lane reminiscing on favorite hits, ballads, love songs, and more from yesteryear as well as today and from multiple genres. This soulful performance will include jazz, smooth jazz, blues, pop, R and B, Motown, Classic Rock and more. You will be moved, energized, invigorated, and fulfilled knowing that this was much more than a show or concert, but an historic musical encounter that will leave the theater full of emotion, love, joy and happiness. Witness heartfelt tributes by Dee Dee King to his mother and grandmother, who were native daughters of Oriental, as well as every mother present, and some very special surprises.

Tickets may be available at the Box Office one hour before the performance. Complimentary tickets will not be accepted for this event. Doors open 60 minutes before the show. Wine and soft drinks will be available by donation.
