Desert Bluegrass Festival

The Desert Bluegrass Festival, hosted by the Desert Bluegrass Association, will be Friday-Sunday, March 8-10, 2024 in Marana, Arizona, just outside Tucson. Come share three amazing days of great Bluegrass music, workshops, contra dance, jamming, a band scramble, children’s activities, food, and crafts along with some of the best musicians and most enthusiastic fans in the southwestern U.S. $25/day, $40/weekend, Friday afternoon free, under 16 free. RV camping $50 flat rate Thursday through Sunday. This is a family-friendly outdoor event starting Friday afternoon with a band scramble (bring your instrument and join the fun!), followed by a concert and a contra dance by Nick McBlaine and Logtrain. Saturday and Sunday we will have great bands playing all day long, with mid-day instrument and song-writing workshops by our headliners, the Mike Mitchell Band. After hours jamming in the campground will go on until the pickers drop. Come join us for three fun-filled days of bluegrass music with a beautiful mountain backdrop under the desert sun (and yes, we do provide shade tents).
