DOWNTOWN TEMPE’S PARK AFTER DARK EVENT SERIES

The heat may be on, but a cooldown is happening in Downtown Tempe this summer. The popular Park After Dark summer event series returns under the cool shade trees at 6th Street Park. Attendees will discover plenty of refreshing fun and entertainment for all ages beginning Saturday, June 11, and running every second and fourth Saturday through September. Each free event features a rotating lineup of entertainment, outdoor games, and beer and wine vendors. The kickoff event on Saturday, June 11, will include live entertainment and dance battles hosted by Furious Styles. All ages are welcome and can enjoy an assortment of backyard jumbo games, while Pedal Haus will be onsite offering cold beer and wine for purchase to attendees ages 21 and older. On Saturday, June 25, will be a celebration of the PRIDE Month with a drag show hosted by GLOW, a live DJ, beer and wine, and backyard jumbo games. Throughout the series, attendees can take advantage of the abundance of food and drink options in Downtown Tempe, with 14 options less than a 5-minute walk from 6th Street Park.
