Join the Driftwood community for a festival and a beautiful spring day in the Hill Country at Vista Brewing celebrating the culture and heritage of Driftwood. The inagural Driftwood Heritage Festival is hosted by the Driftwood Historical Conservation Society. Please register on Eventbrite to receive updates on activities. Enjoy live music all day: Beth Chrisman Band, Adam Johnson Band and Billy Garza Shop local handmade products by local artisans: Bag In The Day, Noona Tilton Jewelry, Tolly’s Turnings, Zeman Woodcrafts and more Activities for kiddos including face painting, making a wildflower seed bomb and more Meet our community partners to learn about dark sky practices, natural beekeeping, permaculture farming, water conservation and managing native habitats for pollinators and wildlife Learn about the history of the Driftwood area, including the original William B. Travis league of land and development of the town through the past 150 years Enjoy farm-to-table food from Vista Grill, award-winner beer and local wines & ciders. Vista is releasing a limited library brew, Travis, a wild ale aged in local Texas wine During the festival, join us to witness the unveiling of the William B. Travis Historical Marker documenting the site of William B. Travis League #15 of land (4,428 acres) located along the William B. Travis Heritage Trail, just south of Driftwood. This was Travis’s one and only headright land grant from impresario Ben Rush Milam’s Mexican land grant in 1835. Updates to activities can be found on Eventbrite.
