Festival Details - "Easter Polish Food Sale"...

Start: Saturday, March 23, 2024 2:00PM
End: Saturday, March 23, 2024 6:00PM

The Blessed Virgin Mary Parish, located at 250 Old Maxwell Road in Latham, NY, will hold its Annual Polish Easter Food Sale from 2-6 p.m. on Saturday, March 23. Pre-orders placed now at will ensure the best selection. Walk-in customers are always welcome on the day of the sale. Hot food will be available, including the popular Kielbasa Bomber Sandwich made with jalapeño-cheddar kielbasa topped with sweet and sour red cabbage, homemade golabki, the ever-popular Polish Platter, bigos, haluski, ready to eat pierogi, and more. A new vegetarian Polish Platter is now being offered for our vegetarian friends! The sale also features frozen foods including three types of high-quality, lean kielbasa that is locally made, borscht, kapusta, haluski, and 13 varieties of frozen pierogi from our partner, award-winning Babcia’s Pierogi. Flavors include potato and cheese, sauerkraut, kielbasa and kraut, sweet cheese, blueberry, buffalo wing, potato mushroom and bleu cheese, jalapeño-popper, Reuben, sausage and asiago, stuffed mushroom, S'Mores, and more. Quantities of some pierogi flavors are limited. Polish desserts are all homemade: chrusciki, carrot cake, kolachki, placek (sweet Polish raisin bread), and raspberry or walnut rolls. Traditional baranki (butter lambs) are also available. Customers’ questions are welcome on how to prepare pierogi and other Polish dishes. Preparation tips and suggestions are also available to take home. Orders must be picked up on March 23 between 2-6 p.m. at 250 Old Maxwell Road, Latham, NY 12110. Tips and donations will benefit the Saratoga Center for the Family. The Saratoga Center for the Family provides services committed to strengthening, empowering, and educating children, families, and the community to reduce the incidence and effects of child abuse, neglect, and family dysfunction. They do this through child advocacy, mental health counseling, prevention, and educational programming offered throughout the Capital Region.
