In addition, The Easton Farmers’ Market has live music, market chef demos, kids’ activities and more than a dozen festivals. The Market Bike Valet offers free, supervised bike parking located by the foot bridge. You'll also find insulated market bags and reusable bags with handy compartments for baguettes, wine, flowers, and more. Bags are available for sale at all entry tents, as well as at the Main Merch Tent, where you'll find tons of market swag! Hours Regular Season: Saturdays: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. (May - Dec.) - Scott Park on Larry Holmes Dr., Easton Winter Market: Saturdays: 10 a.m. - noon (Jan. - April) - 300 block of Northampton St., Easton (in front of Easton Public Market) History The Easton Farmers’ Market was established in 1752, the year of the Easton’s founding. For more than two and a half centuries farmers and merchants have gathered in Easton’s “Great Square” to peddle their fresh and handcrafted wares. Easton’s proximity to Philadelphia and New York City, as well as its unique place at the confluence of the Delaware and Lehigh Rivers, made it a natural site for regional commerce and community gatherings. In fact, on July 8, 1776, the Great Square (now known as Centre Square) was the site for one of only three public readings of the Declaration of Independence. Today the Easton Farmers’ Market remains a rich and colorful piece of Easton’s heritage, offers visitors and locals alike a vibrant shopping experience and incomparable community spirit.
