Eat Local Week 2023, organized by Transition Sarasota, is a week-long festival taking place October 14-October 21. It features engaging and educational events revolving around the theme “Local Food, Future Resilience”. Events cover a range of topics from a "Meet Your Farmers" event at Lakewood Ranch Farmers Market to a farm tour at Honeyside Farms, edible plant walk with Bob Linde, cooking demos with Zildjian Catering & Consulting, plant sales, a music event with The Garbage-Men, Big Mama's Collard Green Fest, and more.
