Sheffield, Mass. – The Friends of the Bushnell-Sage Library will host a panel discussion on the current state of emergency medical services (EMS) in Massachusetts. The event is scheduled for February 21, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Dewey Memorial Hall, 91 Main Street (State Route 7), Sheffield, MA 01257.
The panel will feature State Representative Leigh Davis, Sheffield Police Chief Eric R. Munson III, Action Ambulance Service CEO Michael Woronka, and Southern Berkshire Ambulance Squad Board Director James Santos. Together, they will examine the urgent challenges facing EMS providers, including workforce shortages, funding gaps, and the need for regional collaboration. Panelists will also discuss proposed legislative solutions and available grant funding.
This event is free and open to the public, with an opportunity for attendees to participate in the discussion and ask questions.
