Festival Details - "Experience Girl Scouting at The Believe in Girls (B.I.G.) Event in Prescott on April 5"...

Start: Saturday, April 5, 2025 3:00PM
End: Saturday, April 5, 2025 7:00PM

Girl Scouts–Arizona Cactus-Pine Council (GSACPC) invites all Girl Scouts, their families, friends, and anyone interested in supporting or joining the Girl Scout movement to participate in The Believe In Girls (B.I.G.) Event on Sat., April 5, 2025, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the World's Oldest Rodeo, located at 840 Rodeo Dr, Building D, Prescott, Ariz.

The B.I.G. Event is an open-house that provides an opportunity for local girls of all ages to discover Girl Scouts and connect with community partners to see how they are making a difference. During the event, girls will meet new Girl Scout sisters, try interactive hands-on programs, and more as they engage in a range of activities focused on the four Girl scout pillars: STEM, the outdoors, life skills, and entrepreneurship.

The B.I.G. Event will also host the new Girl Scout Mobile Building Space, a program on wheels that provides Girl Scouts with hands-on experience and mentorship in engineering, building, construction, and design through experiential learning projects.

"At the heart of Girl Scouting is a belief in girls and their limitless potential," says Mary Mitchell, co-CEO of GSACPC. "The B.I.G. Event is the start of lifelong connections and empowering experiences that build leaders. We invite girls and families across northern Arizona to come see all the fun, impact, excitement, and sisterhood of Girl Scouts in the community and how they can be a part of it."

In addition to highlighting Girl Scout programs, The B.I.G. Event will feature rock-climbing, entertainment, local food trucks, a DJ, a bounce house, and plenty of other fun activities for the whole family.

The registration fee for The B.I.G. Event is $10, and individuals interested in attending can register online at girlscoutsaz.org/bigevent.

Partner organizations for The B.I.G. Event include AZ State Parks, Sweet and Sassy, Education Empowers Inc., Main Event, City of Prescott Recreation Services, Prescott Community Compost Project/Prescott Farmers Market, and Curry Goat Ranch.
