Fall Festival by Joshua's Hands

This year’s theme, “Celebrating with America!”, will set the stage for a full day of family fun, entertainment, heritage activities and community celebration. Admission, activities, entertainment and lunch are all completely free—a gift of love from Joshua’s Hands to the community. Live entertainment throughout the day will feature local and regional performers, including Cherry Denim, Catoctin School of Music, Celtic School of Rhythm & Dance, Zion Springs Fiddlers, Blue Ridge Thunder Cloggers, and Drama Team mimes. The Festival offers activities for all ages. Visitors can enjoy pony rides, fire trucks, face painting, balloon art, animal exhibits, children’s crafts and carnival-style games. Younger children will have their own special area, Little Avenue, designed especially for preschool-age visitors. Traditional heritage arts will also be featured throughout the festival. Guests will have opportunities to participate in hands-on activities and observe demonstrations in quilting, knitting, chair caning and wool spinning, highlighting skills that have been passed down through generations. A free lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
