Start: Saturday, October 19, 2024 10:00AM
End: Saturday, October 19, 2024 5:00PM
The free event will be held on a farm just off of Rt. 9 and Rt. 7 (Hamilton, VA).
The Fall Festival is open to all. Those who attend the Festival will enjoy live entertainment by local and regional artists: Furnace Mountain, Taylor Hart, Catoctin School of Music, Celtic School of Rhythm and Dance, Zion Springs Fiddlers and Blue Ridge Thunder Cloggers. Kids from 1-100 will enjoy the Mobile Dairy Classroom, fire truck, face painting, balloon art and animal exhibits.
There will be pony rides, kids' crafts and tons of carnival-style games. Heritage arts will be well represented with hands-on opportunities to quilt and knit, as well as chair caning and wool spinning demonstrations.
Now in its 39th year, this is truly a jewel of a community event! Everything is FREE - including lunch (11am-2pm)! This is only possible because of generous community support of the live auction (2pm). Local and regional donations will be auctioned off to cover the expenses of the event and to support the work of Joshua's Hands. Some of the items to be auctioned this year include quilts, themed baskets, jewelry, Tupperware, restaurant gift cards, homemade goodies and more.
