Fauquier Community Theatre presents the classic courtroom drama "Inherit The Wind" March 14 - 30

"Inherit the Wind" is a lively courtroom drama that dives into the 1925 Scopes Trial, where a Tennessee science teacher was tried for teaching the theory of evolution. Two persuasive attorneys argue the case in an effort to determine the balance of church and state. "Inherit the Wind" is considered one of the most outstanding dramas of our time.

Fauquier Community Theatre will present nine performances of the play "Inherit the Wind" that will take place at the Vint Hill Theater on the Green located at 4225 Aiken Drive, Warrenton, Virginia. Performances take place on Fridays and weekends from March 14 - March 30, 2025. Friday and Saturday performances take place at 7:30 pm and Sunday matinees are at 2 pm. The play with 21 actors is directed by Leslie Anne Ross and produced by Don Richardson. The production of "Inherit the Wind" is by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service. The play is performed during the 100th Anniversary Year of the historic Scopes Trial.
