Fauquier Community Theatre presents the musical comedy Irving Berlin's Annie Get Your Gun

Irving Berlin's "Annie Get Your Gun" (Stone Version) is sure to be a hit with audiences at Fauquier Community Theatre! The cast of 30 actors brings this musical to the FCT stage with much vitality and talent!

The musical is directed by Jeff Walker with music director Doray Walker. Yes, that is the amazingly creative and talented team that makes every production a standing ovation, time and time again! Plus choreographer Marie-Louse Lyon and the talented cast bring out out all the bells and whistles in this big Broadway musical!

Also, 8 musicians play the musical score under the baton of Annette Fakoury. From violin and keyboard to reeds and trumpet, enjoy some of Broadway's favorite music!

The musical "Annie Get Your Gun" is the fictionalized story of Annie Oakley, one of the world’s most famous sharpshooters. Written by Irving Berlin and Herbert and Dorothy Fields, the 1946 musical celebrates her stormy, competitive relationship with Frank Butler, a dashing vaudeville marksman, as they tour the country as the stars of “Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show.”

The show boasts classic songs by Irving Berlin, a brand new revised book by Peter Stone and direction and choreography by Graciela Daniele (Ragtime). The score features some of Irving Berlin's most beloved songs, including "There's No Business Like Show Business," "You Can't Get A Man With A Gun," "Doin' What Comes Naturally" and "Anything You Can Do."

Performances for "Annie Get Your Gun" will take place on Fridays and weekends from Friday, September 13, 2024 - Sunday, Sept 29, 2024. Friday and Saturday performances are at 7:30 pm and Sunday matinees are at 2 pm.

All performances will take place at the Vint Hill Theater on the Green located at 4225 Aiken Drive, Warrenton, VA.
