Fauquier Community Theatre presents the musical EVITA on Fridays and weekends September 15 - October 1, 2023.

Set in Argentina between 1934 -1952, the Tony-winning musical follows Eva Duarte on her journey to become the most powerful woman in Latin America.

Well-known numbers from Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical masterpiece include "Don't Cry for Me Argentina," "Oh What a Circus," "Buenos Aires" and "Another Suitcase in Another Hall."

FCT's production of the musical EVITA is directed by Jeff Walker and is presented in the year of Andrew Lloyd Webber's 75th birthday. EVITA is sponsored by Brookside Neighbors - Best Version Media.

The cast of 26 actors/singers,10 musicians under the baton of Jack Dusek, and 12 on the production team with producer Don Richardson bring the musical to stage in an extraordinary way.

Choreography by Danica Shook and Marie-Louise Lyon, and Stacy King's Lighting Design along with the set Design by Peter Marsh are sure to be admired by the audience.
