Festival Details - "Festival of Cultures"...

The 2024 Festival of Cultures takes place in Wheaton's Memorial Park (225 Karlskoga Avenue) on Sunday, September 15 from 1 pm until 5 pm. This free, family-friendly event features live entertainment, cultural booths, mural and passport activities for kids, and storytelling, A program of the Wheaton Community Relations Commission, the festival celebrates the diversity of cultures that make Wheaton a vibrant, welcoming community. Funkadesi, Costas Colectivo, the Institute for Traditional Irish Music, and the Wheaton College Gospel Choir will perform and individuals will share their cultural stories from the Memorial Park Bandshell stage. Children can get "passports" stamped as they enjoy hands-on activities and learn about other cultures.
