The United States and the European Union account for 45 percent of the global economy. They share free markets, democratic values, a military alliance, and $1.5 trillion in annual trade. However, the transatlantic partnership is challenged by U.S. threats of economic nationalism ("America First"), lack of commitment to addressing climate change, and the U.S. shift in focus from Europe to Asia. As a result, the first 100 days of the Trump Administration is undoubtedly more consequential for Europe than at any point in the history of the US - EU relations. Tickets are limited for this event.
