First Friday Monthly Market in Camden, AR will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo on May 6th in downtown Camden. Lots of fun and activities are planned again this month. So many vendors are coming this month that the market filled to capacity 3 weeks early. You can shop everything this month from clothing to jewelry, woodworking to forged items. Special nonprofit groups and local organizations will be throughout the market to provide all kinds of entertainment for the young and old alike. Ouachita County Medical Center will have stroke prevention information along with a huge inflatable brain for everyone to enter and the Camden Fire Department will be giving some fire safety tips and so much more. With 2 great food trucks this month, be sure you come hungry. Camden’s newest food truck “Crawfish Haven” will be set up with wonderful Cajun cooked crawfish, shrimp, and crab legs. Of course celebrating Cinco de Mayo we will have Bills & Dimes food truck. If you haven’t had an opportunity to visit Camden’s newest truck, here’s your chance with Headbangers Creamery offering awesome ice cream tacos, floats and other ice cream treats. Other food items can be found throughout the market from Navajo tacos on Indian fry bread, street tacos, flavored popcorn, baked goods, and of course Four Points Coffee Cart with macarons. We excited to announce our May performer coming to us as the Top Performer in Hot Springs! Former American Idol contestant, Jacob Flores, is an award-winning, one-man band.
