The Rotary Club of Mitchell Field brings you the tastiest of fundraisers! It's our second-annual spring Food Trucks & Jazz event at Vretenar Memorial Park in St Francis. We're featuring 10 of Milwaukee's finest Food Trucks and 3 of Milwaukee's grooviest Jazz Bands. Check the website www.foodtruckfrenzy.org for a full list of trucks. There's something for everybody! Come for the food, stay for the music! From 11A to 1P it's the latin jazz group Rumba, presented by the award winning Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra. From 1P to 3P it’s the big, big sound of the 21-piece Brew City Big Band playing all your favorite danceable jazz standards. From 3P to 5P it's the masterful J Ryan Trio playing everything from Steely Dan to Charlie Parker! Admission is free! Bring your lawn chairs or grab a picnic table. Plus there's a playground, bag toss games and from 11A to 3P flower pot decorating for the kids! $6 get a flowerpot, paints, decorations and a flower to plant. The kids have fun and you get some crazy fun photo ops. Proceeds from beer, soda, water and hard seltzer sales help with our local service projects and will go in part to the Rotary International's effort to eradicate polio worldwide!
