‘Robert Frost: Fire and Ice’ Returns to Clay Hill Farm

The life of Pulitzer-prize winning poet, Robert Frost, told in a poignant one-man play written by June August, returns to Clay Hill Farm for five matinée performances in February. Local actor, Kirk Simpson, reprises the role of America’s favorite poet in this intimate one-man adaptation.

For the past 12 years at Clay Hill Farm, tear-stained audiences have left the restaurant saying, “Wow, I never knew that about Robert Frost”, after an intimate afternoon with Kirk Simpson as the literary legend in June August’s, FROST: Fire and Ice.

Following sold-out performances as Edgar Allen Poe and Charles Dickens, Simpson brings to life another beloved author in this one-man production. Flowing from narrative to poetry, this remarkable dramatic reading of August’s FROST: Fire and Ice, provides insight into the life of the famed writer and Pulitzer-prize winner. Simpson’s unique brand of storytelling provides an intimate dining experience for Frost fans, theater fans and anyone interested in the trials and triumphs of a famous New Englander.

Clay Hill Farm Presents…, FROST: Fire and Ice, opens Sunday, February 4th at 1pm, for 5 matinée performances in the month February. Sunday: 2/4, 2/11, 2/18 and 2/25, and Saturday, 2/17.
