Get yourself down to Gabriel's Wharf this September for a celebration of creativity and community on London's South Bank. Over two days immerse yourself in live music, spoken word, comedy & circus performances, plus art & craft activities, whilst indulging in tasty food and drink along with a spot of shopping.
On Saturday 6th September enjoy an eclectic programme featuring japanese drumming from Tamashii School of Wadaikoo-Do, acclaimed all-female choir City Academy Songbirds, guitar solos from mex.fS and Jamie Rudd, plus a reading from author Tom Chivers as he delves into his new book London Clay: Journeys in the Deep City.
Saturday 20th sees performances from New Orleans-style jazz group Doolally Tap, award-winning duo Alina Bzhezhinska (harp) & Tony Kofi (saxophone), duo Danusia Samal (vocals) & Ed Gaughan (guitar), plus mex.fS returns.
Across both days poet Tia-zakura performs throughout the day, with her unique style blending storytelling and rhyming patterns. Expect to see roving circus and comedy performances, and get stuck into creative activities from bunting-making to painting.
This year’s festival promises to be a fun and inspiring event, with something for everyone. Best of all, it’s completely free!
