ABSAGE DES GARAGEVILLE FESTIVALS 2021 / TICKETR*CKERSTATTUNG

Liebe Freunde und Freundinnen,

als wir im vergangenen Fr*hjahr das Garageville Festival wegen Corona absagen mussten, w*hnten wir uns mit einer Verschiebung um ein Jahr auf der sicheren Seite. Aber da waren wir wohl zu optimistisch. Trotz angek*ndigter Impfstoffe scheint es ausgeschlossen, dass Ende April 2021 wieder ausverkaufte Festivals in kleinen Clubs stattfinden k*nnen.

Ein Garageville Festival mit Hygieneabstand, deutlich reduzierter Besucheranzahl und anderen Einschr*nkungen k*nnen wird uns aber nicht vorstellen - daf*r lebt dieses Wochenende zu sehr von N*he, Austausch und Gemeinsamkeit. Die bisherigen acht Garageville Wochenenden waren Vollgas-Wochenenden - mit angezogener Handbremse funktioniert das leider nicht.

Wir haben uns deshalb entschieden, Garageville auch 2021 schon jetzt abzusagen.
TixforGigs wird allen Besuchern, die ihr Vorverkaufsticket bis jetzt noch nicht zur*ckgegeben haben, ihr Eintrittsgeld zeitnah zur*ckerstatten.

Ob es im April 2022 wieder ein Garageville Festival in Hamburg geben wird, k*nnen wir jetzt noch nicht sagen.
Wir werden uns mit Updates bei euch melden.

Bis dahin: Bleibt gesund und unterst*tzt weiterhin Bands und Clubs, damit noch etwas da ist, wenn dieses Virus irgendwann hoffentlich wieder verschwunden ist!

CANCELLATION OF THE GARAGEVILLE FESTIVAL 2021 / TICKET REFUND

Dear friends,

when we decided to cancel Garageville last spring because of Corona, we thought we were on the safe side with a one-year postponement. But we were apparently too optimistic. Despite announced vaccines, it seems impossible that sold-out festivals in small clubs will be able to take place again at the end of April 2021.

But we dont want to imagine a Garageville Festival with distance, a significantly reduced number of visitors and other restrictions - this weekend lives too much on personal exchange and community. The eight Garageville weekends so far have been full throttle weekends - with the handbrake on, unfortunately, it doesn't work.

We have therefore decided to cancel Garageville 2021 now.
TixforGigs will promptly refund all visitors who have not returned their advance ticket yet.

Whether there will be another Garageville Festival in Hamburg in April 2022, we can't say at this point.
We will get back to you with updates.

Until then: Stay healthy and keep supporting bands and clubs, so that there is still something left when this virus hopefully disappears again someday!
