Giocosa Chamber Music celebrates the rich diversity of American music with a program of incomparable string quartets. From Charles Griffes' "2 Sketches on Native American Themes", Gershwin's beautiful "Lullaby" and rising superstar Jesse Montgomery's "Strum" to the infamous "American Quartet" by Antonin Dvorak, this program will demonstrate how America's diverse population has shaped our unique national sound. Featuring Giocosa directors Heather Goodchild Wade (violin) and Elizabeth Schultze (cello), and guest artists Jesse Holstein (violin) and Danielle Farina (viola), this program brings virtuosity and relevance for the modern audience to Chatham's acoustically lovely FCC. Tickets $30 at the door, 18 and under free, pay-what-you-can option available.
