October 15, 2022 The Glocester Scarecrow Festival in Chepachet Village, Glocester, RI. Sponsored by the Chepachet Grange #38 and The Glocester Libraries. Entertainment from 11:00 am to 5 along Putnam Pike. Over 100 scarecrows created by families, organizations and businesses put in place on festival day.
The Pavilion at Kent Field will have Will Worthy from 1-4 and be the location for The Glocester Scarecrow Marketplace.
The Chepachet Union Church, 1138 Putnam Pike will have a Bob Drouin Jam Fest with folk and Celtic music from 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm. At 3 the Bel Aire’s will perform 50’s and 60’s oldies.
The porch at Tavern on Main will have Gooseberry Road from 11:00am to 12:30 pm playing contemporary music. At 1 and 3 pm John Fuzek with folk and contemporary.
The Glocester Heritage Society will have Lainey Dionne at 1 and 3 pm
Brown and Hopkins will have Nolan Leite at 3 and 4 pm
Children's entertainment---- Face painting at The Creative Room at the Round About, pumpkin painting and children’s games at the Glocester Manton Library.
Pony rides (Enshanting Allie Stabile), Xen Creatures presenting a petting zoo and Moonlit farms with their display of animals all at the Chepachet Baptist Church 1213 Putnam Pike 11 am - 3 pm.
Food-----Chepachet Grange, dynamites at the Pavilion, Chepachet Union Church bag lunch, Clam cakes and chowder at Chepachet Fire Dept. Village Bean, Who Cut the Cheesecake, Aegean Pizza, Tavern on Main, and Depetrilllo's our Main Street restaurants and food places! Food trucks, Barbara's Quick Lunch and Not your Average Popcorn at the Pavilion and Dinolicious, Cassena’s Mexican Food and 4 Guys BBQ food trucks along Putnam Pike. Putnam Pike.
Don't forget our friends outside of the village! Mr Z's, Gentleman Farmer, Hill's Tavern and Grill, Pinewood Pub and Pizza Cady's. In Burrilville, thank you Johnny's Victory Diner for your support. The Glocester Scarecrow Marketplace, sponsored by the Glocester Recreation Dept, from 11 am to 3 pm at The Pavilion, 1109 Putnam Pike.
Scarecrows remain in place until October 30, parking begins at Acote's Field and St. Eugene's Church
