The Grand Teton Music Festival's 60th Season - from July 2-August 21, 2021 - will feature seven weeks of performances, including one week outdoors in the Festival Tent in Center Park at the Center for the Arts in downtown Jackson, followed by six weeks at Walk Festival Hall. Guest artists include cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason, pianist Yefim Bronfman, violinists James Ehnes and Leila Josefowicz, soprano Julia Bullock, and Broadway vocalist Capathia Jenkins. Other Festival highlights include a world premiere by composer Melody Eötvös, a Jessie Montgomery co-commission, and a concert of opera highlights with world-renowned soloists. Stéphane Denève and Miguel Harth-Bedoya return as guest conductors and Gemma New makes her debut. Under the baton of world-renowned Music Director Sir Donald Runnicles, Festival Orchestra musicians come together to gather inspiration from the mountain setting and to provide spectacular music for audiences. Festival musicians are featured as soloists as well as part of a weekly chamber music series.
