United Cerebral Palsy Association of Hawaii's favorite rubber duckies will take their 33rd annual dive in the waters of the Ala Wai Canal. If your duckie is one of the top 25 finishers, you could win some great prizes. Pre-race festivities will begin at the Kalakaua Avenue Bridge, with local entertainment, keiki games, and duckie paraphernalia. Hundreds of spectators will watch 20,000 duckies splash into the Ala Wai Canal and race towards the finish goal! It's always a quack-tackular time!
Duckies Dive at 3:21 pm.
To adopt a duckie and be part of this year's event, one can go online to www.ucpahi.org or call the duckie hotline at (808) 532-6744.
United Cerebral Palsy Association of Hawaii takes great pride in being the first nonprofit to officially sponsor a rubber duckie race, not only in Hawaii, but the United States, as well. The duckies have generated over 1.26 million dollars for those with cerebral palsy and other disabilities in Hawaii.
