The Greensboro Greek Festival is Greensboro's foremost ethnic festival sharing our Greek culture for the Triad to enjoy. We offer a great variety of traditional Greek dishes such as Athenian Lemon Baked Chicken, Pastitio, Braised Lamb Shank, Spanakopita, Gyro sandwiches, Chicken Souvlaki sandwiches, Dolmathes and Greek salads. For dessert you must try our delicious homemade Loukoumades (Greek Cinnamon Doughnut Holes), Baklava Cheesecake and multitude of pastries including Baklava, Karithopita (Walnut Honey cake), Koulourakia, Greek Wedding cookies, Fenekia (Walnut Honey cookies), Kataifi, Flogeres, Almond Crescent cookies and Coconut macaroons. A selection of Greek wines or beers will be available along with sodas and water. If you love coffee then you can enjoy the traditional Greek coffee or a coffee Frappe. Then relax and enjoy the Greek music and dance performance that our youth provide for your entertainament. You might feel like you are in Greece for a while! Gate admission is $2 or bring 2 canned goods for free admission.
