Haymakers for Hope fight to 'Knock Out' Cancer at Charity Boxing Event

Haymakers For Hope, is inviting South Florida to watch as they “knock out” cancer with their first South Beach charitable boxing event on March 6 at the Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater, 1700 Washington Avenue.

Taking place at 7:30 p.m., tickets for the event went on sale January 12th at $85 per person.

“We are so excited to introduce our charity boxing event to the Miami community,” states Andrew Myerson, co-founder of Haymakers for Hope.

The organization has already raised more than $100,000. All donations from the event will benefit the University of Miami’s Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, state-of-the-art treatment and follow-up care, and various other charities handpicked by the participating boxers.

“Training for a boxing match is no joke; it takes so much commitment and truly tests each individual,” said Jordan McMillan, the marketing manager for Haymakers for Hope.
