Heal Together: Race for Sickle Cell 5K Run/Walk

This annual 5K run/walk brings together families, healthcare professionals, advocates, and supporters in a unified effort to raise awareness and critical funding for sickle cell disease. Despite affecting millions globally, sickle cell disease remains underfunded and widely misunderstood.

The Scott Center is proud to be the only nonprofit in Ohio focused specifically on supporting sickle cell patients as they transition from pediatric to adult care. Our programming provides advocacy, education, and direct support for over 1,000 families across Northwest Ohio.
