The HeART of Halifax Festival Brings Art, Music, and Community to Halifax County Creativity, music, and community spirit will take center stage this summer as Lakeland Cultural Arts Community (LCAC) presents the HeART of Halifax Festival, a vibrant celebration of local art, culture, and creativity. The festival will take place at Halifax Community College on July 18th, bringing together artists, performers, local businesses, and families from across Halifax County and the surrounding region for a full day of engaging activities and entertainment. Designed to highlight the role the arts play in strengthening communities, supporting local businesses, and creating opportunities for people of all ages to participate in creative experiences, the HeART of Halifax Festival will offer a wide variety of attractions for visitors. Festival attendees can look forward to: - Local and regional artists and handmade vendors - Live music and stage performances throughout the day - Interactive art activities for children and families - Creative demonstrations from local artists and makers - Opportunities to connect with community organizations and businesses More than just an arts festival, the event celebrates the heart of Halifax County — its people, creativity, and community spirit. By hosting the festival on the campus of Halifax Community College, LCAC hopes to create a welcoming space where residents and visitors can gather, explore the arts, and experience the creative energy of the region.
