In celebration of Black History Month and Black food culture, we invite you to the 2nd annual Hey, Auntie! Gumbo Cooking Contest 2025. After the Black History Month Parade come to the Bayview Opera House to taste all the gumbos and vote for your favorites! The event brings together home cooks and professional chefs from around the Bay Area to compete for the Hey Auntie crown! Don't let the name fool you, "Uncles" who can cook a mean gumbo will also have a chance to compete.
