Himmel's Annual Country Festival

Food will be served all day beginning at 7 am with breakfast. Lunch begins at 11 am. Homemade Pot Pie will be served at 4pm. Live musical entertainment begins on the grove stage at 10 am. Scheduled entertainment: Himmel’s Choir, Seger Family, Chapter VII, Die Schwadore Schalle (Pennsylvania Dutch group), Achording to Dad, Jeremy Goodling Ministry, The Fuller Family, and Brothers in Grace. You’ll also find a used book sale, bake sale, kids’ games, a duck derby on the creek with prizes awarded, and door prizes. Himmel’s will have commemorative items available to begin the celebration of our 250th anniversary (1773-2023). Demonstrators include Wheel of Light Pottery, Green Horse Farm, Duck carving, Woodworking, Hit & Miss Engines, Patterns by Paulhamus, and Ham Radio. Other highlights include kettle-made ham and bean soup, kettle-cooked potato chips, homemade pie, and homemade ice cream with a hit & miss engine – all made on-site.
