We are excited and grateful to Melanie for bringing her expertise and fascinating way of offering a glimpse of frontier life to you, our visitors!

She will present foods and preparations that colonial Americans would have foraged or cultivated to nourish themselves and their families in the harsh wilderness of Northern New England in the Fort at No 4’s 1740-1760 time period.
