HOT Summer evening…COLD, sweet, Homemade Ice Cream, plus pie, cake, hamburgers, hot dogs, and chips. Sounds like an Ice Cream Social to me. Sounds like an excellent opportunity for community and fellowship. Sunday, July 20, from 5:00-8:00pm, Central Church will be serving up grilled hamburgers and hot dogs with chips, but the main attraction of this meal is the dessert — pie, cake, and that velvety-smooth homemade ice cream and toppings. Cost is $12 for adults; $6 for kids 6-12; kids 5 and under eat free. Central Church is located at 118 W. Ashley St. in Jefferson City, 2 blocks south of US 50 between Broadway and Jefferson St. (Just look for our steeple.)
