* Shop from 30+ local vendors and artists * Just A Pizza My Mind food truck and cash bar * Hear inspirational talks by local women engaged in the community * Live music from the all-female band Crush on Her X * Talk with local organizations about careers the trades, affordable homeownership and more Women Build is a program that encourages the involvement of women in the construction of Habitat for Humanity homes, where women teach women construction skills in a safe, inclusive and empowering environment. This event kicks off a fundraising effort by Tacoma/Pierce County Habitat for Humanity to offer ongoing monthly Women Build days led by Habitat’s female construction site managers.
