Saturday August 16th - Craig Harris’ Breathe is free and open to the public (3-4:30). Sunday, August 17th - Jazz in the Valley is ticketed (Noon-6PM) $50- early bird, $60- regular ticket, $70- at the gate with $20- students that have their id), with vocalist Jazzmeia Horn, drummer/percussionist/bandleader Bobby Sanabria & Ascension and Echoes of an Era, an all-star group that includes the festival’s artistic director and saxophonist Javon Jackson, drummer Lenny White, vocalist Lisa Fischer, pianist Orrin Evans, trumpeter Dr. Eddie Henderson and bassist John Patitucci, celebrating the legacy of the 1982 legendary jazz recording of the same name.
