Selections from the Romeo and Juliet Suites by Prokofiev conjure powerful moments from Shakespeare’s star-crossed story, with the entrancing themes of the young lovers punctuated by intensity where violence and tragedy take root.

Jess Gillam has performed at events including The Last Night of the Proms and the BAFTAs. Her first album, Rise, released in April 2019, went to number one in the UK’s Official Classical Charts.

She has also achieved international recognition as a soloist and was the first saxophonist to sign with Decca Classics.
