Jimmy Funai Guitar Celebration!

The Guitar Foundation of Hawaii, a 501(c)3 Non-Profit is proud to host our first ever fundraiser, celebrating and honoring the work of Master Guitarist Jimmy Funai! It's being held at The Musician's Union Hall at 909 Kapiolani Blvd, and we'll have a stellar band in the house! 100% of the proceeds go to the Guitar Foundation of Hawaii! On keyboards is Kimo Cornwell of the jazz/new age band Hiroshima, On bass is John Kolivas, leader of the Honolulu Jazz Quartet, On drums is Rod Esteban, drummer for countless bands in Hawaii Scheduled to perform with Jimmy and this incredible band: Glenn Medeiros, "Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For You" Billboard Blockbuster John Valentine, Na Hoku Hanohano Entertainer of the Year Recipient PLUS: Zanuck Lindsey, Robert Shinoda, Rachel Gonzales, Dave Toma, Kevin Hirasa, Stacey Tangonan and Corey Funai!
