Last year Juan Martin played a fantastic sold out concert at the Priory Church of Lady St Mary’s in Wareham and he is returning again, by popular demand, for 2025! Juan Martin ‘A Giant of Flamenco’ Voted into the top 3 flamenco guitarists in the world by Guitar Player USA and described by The Times as ‘A giant of Flamenco Guitar Tradition’. Juan Martin first learnt to play the Flamenco Guitar in his native Andalucia. By the age of 17 he was already playing professionally and in his early twenties he studied with Paco de Lucia. Voted the top flamenco guitarist two years running by Guitar Magazine he was invited to perform at Picasso’s 90th birthday celebrations, which led him to record his ground breaking album Picasso Portraits.
