The city of Scottsdale announces the return of June Days this summer. The monthlong extravaganza presents a series of events and experiences in partnership with local Old Town businesses that celebrates the season. “June Days serves as an opportunity for the city of Scottsdale to highlight some of our independently owned businesses and offer our community a robust series of activities and engagements throughout the summer,” said Rachel Smetana, tourism and events director for the city of Scottsdale. “We invite all our residents and visitors to experience Old Town during June Days.” June Days’ daily experiences range from wine tastings and art exhibits to yoga mornings, stadium tours and more. Like other popular experiences presented by the city of Scottsdale, such as Western Week and Scottsdazzle, many of the June Days events are free. Some June Days experiences on deck for 2025 include: Tournament of Treats Via social media All month long Cost: Free to participate online; frozen treat costs vary by location The city of Scottsdale is on the hunt to find the area’s biggest frozen treat fans and favorite frozen treat! During the contest, local merchants will be showing off their coolest summer treats for social media fans to vote on and earn the chance to win gift cards from participating locations including AZ Froze, Jenni’s Splendid Ice Creams, Original ChopShop, Red Canyon Café, Shakes & Cones, Skoop and Sweet Republic. Stories and Sweets Scottsdale Community Design Studio Tuesdays—June 3, June 10, June 17 and June 24 | 6:30-7:30 p.m. Cost: Free to attend Guests of all ages are invited to listen in as Scottsdale storytellers share historical tales about the early days of Old Town. Scottsdale Citizen Advisor Bruce Wall hosts four events in the series: The Pioneers Came to Scottsdale, The Pioneers Built Scottsdale, The Pioneers Shop in Scottsdale and Crimes in the Times of the Pioneers. Each program includes a sweet treat from an Old Town business. This year’s lineup includes sweets from Bright Side Café, Chin Up Donuts, Ruze Cake House and The Marketplace by Arcadia Farms. Morning Yoga with Lululemon Scottsdale Civic Center Saturday, June 7 | 8 a.m. Cost: Free to attend Start off the morning with a yoga session guided by Lululemon ambassadors Patty Tapia and Shawnee Williams. Breakfast at the Market 3806 N. Brown Ave. Saturdays—June 7, June 14, June 21 and June 28 | 7-10 a.m. Cost: Free to attend Rise, shine and explore incredible vendors offering a variety of breakfast foods and artisan items. All month long, guests can snack and shop their way through the market while listening to live performances from a variety of musicians, including Ed Helmstead, Lindsey Vogt, Christopher Lawrie and Ben Reneer. The Cool Frontier – Spaghetti Western Movie Series Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West June 3 – 29 | 2 p.m. Cost: Free for museum members, who must log-in first to reserve tickets, free with museum admission or $10 for the program alone Eight iconic films will be presented that pushed the Western genre into wild new territory—and changed cinema forever. Trivia Night: 2000s Edition Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art Friday, June 13 | 7-9 p.m. Cost: $20+ per person Comedian Anwar Newton hosts this fun evening filled with 2000s-themed movie, TV and music references to test participants’ pop culture IQ. Scottsdale Stadium Tours Scottsdale Stadium Friday, June 13 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, June 14 at 9 a.m. Cost: $5 for adults, children 12 and under free Explore this beloved focal point of Old Town in a whole new way with a fun, informative and engaging guided tour. “Live to 100: Secrets of the Blue Zones” Watch Party Saturday, June 14 | 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Scottsdale Civic Center Library Cost: Free to attend Enjoy the entire four-part series of this visually stunning and informative documentary, which explores some of the healthiest communities on the planet. Throughout the event, guests can enjoy guided stretch breaks, mindfulness exercises, tips on growing their own produce and more.
