Calling all aspiring writers, book hoarders, romance readers, poets-who-know-it, and everyone in between: the 15th annual Kansas Book Festival is back this fall and ready to welcome dozens of authors from all across the country, each one with a different connection to the Sunflower State. Starting at 9:00 am on Saturday, September 26, spend the day browsing books and popping into panels from your favorite authors on everything from fantasy to history deep dives, from steamy scenes to experimental poetry, from graphic novels to the economy of Taylor Swift, all completely free. Not to mention food trucks, live music, children's storytimes and art activities, and a mobile coffee bar.
