The Coast Recital Society is thrilled to open Piano Fest with a performance by rising star Kevin Chen. Kevin Chen, recently took second prize in the Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw, considered the Olympics of the music world. Only the world’s finest musicians compete in this competition. To be among the winners is to become an instant international musical star. He's also won First Prize at the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition (Tel Aviv 2023), the Concours de Genève (2022), the Franz Liszt International Piano Competition (Budapest 2021), the Hilton Head International Piano Competition (2020) - and he's only 20 years old!
