Kiowa’s Music in the Park is bringing BIG talent to town on Saturday, June 6th! Join us as we welcome rising Colorado country artist Kenya Reese for an exciting evening of FREE live music at Nordman Memorial Park. Kenya Reese is quickly becoming one of Colorado country music’s brightest emerging stars. Her powerful new single, “Carry On Cowboy,” has been receiving statewide attention for its heartfelt tribute to the strength and struggles of ranching and cowboy communities. Kenya was recently named the winner of the America’s Mountain Festival Songwriters Contest and will be joining the lineup at this summer’s America’s Mountain Festival, including opening for country music artist Aaron Watson. She was also recently nominated for a Josie Music Award at the Grand Ole Opry for Female Country Vocalist of the Year. Bring your lawn chairs, gather your friends and family, and come enjoy a great night of live music, food, and community in beautiful downtown Kiowa. Food vendors will be onsite, and new this year, the Kiowa Main Street Board will be serving canned alcoholic beverages during the event as a fundraiser supporting Main Street revitalization efforts.
