The always popular and entertaining Lake George Music Festival is a premier musical arts festival. Lake George is a destination for classical and new music - surrounded by the beautiful Adirondack Mountains and the stunning beauty of Lake George - the Queen of the American Lakes.
Musicians of professional orchestras, students of music conservatories, faculty, and alumni from many prestigious institutions, emerging young professionals and celebrated artists from around the world perform in the Lake George Area in New York's Southern Adirondacks.
For two weeks the musicians present traditional and experimental concerts, open rehearsals, receptions, and informal talks.
Live festival recordings have been featured on a variety of radio programs including NPR's Performance Today.
Concerts and open rehearsals are held in historic locations, are family-friendly, casual and take place just a short, scenic drive from Lake George throughout Warren County communities.
The Festival will continue to entertain from the Opening Ceremony to the closing Full Orchestra Concert.
The President and the Board of Directors of the Lake George Music Festival invite you to visit and enjoy all the performances presented. Below are the details from 2019. Check back often for updates about the 2021 Lake George Music Festival schedule.
