The Swan Derby is a family-friendly fundraiser supporting Lakeland Volunteers in Medicine, held annually at Lake Mirror in downtown Lakeland. This free, Derby-style event combines lively entertainment with the excitement of competitive racing, promising a memorable experience for all! While enjoying the races, you can: Dance along to live music. Grab delicious eats, snacks, and drinks from local food trucks. Take the kids to the Swan Land activity and play area. Show off your style in the Derby Hat Contest—so don’t forget to wear your best Derby hat!
