Here's the current roster of national artists that will be performing: Peter Collins, Moonchild, KeKe Wyatt and Eric Roberson! Week #1 Eric Roberson Eric Roberson, often referred to as "Erro," is an American singer, songwriter, and producer renowned for his contributions to the independent soul music scene. Born on September 25, 1976, in Rahway, New Jersey, Roberson has built a career characterized by his smooth vocals, heartfelt lyrics, and deep connection to the neo-soul and R&B genres. He began his music career in the late 1990s after studying at Howard University, where he initially signed with Warner Bros. Records. However, it was his decision to pursue an independent path that truly defined his career. Roberson has released numerous albums through his own label, Blue Erro Soul, and is celebrated for his live performances and songwriting prowess. He has written for and collaborated with many artists, including Jill Scott, Musiq Soulchild, and DJ Jazzy Jeff. Throughout his career, Eric Roberson has earned critical acclaim and a dedicated fan base, often referred to as "Erro's Fam." His work has garnered several nominations, including multiple nods from the Grammy Awards, highlighting his influence and impact on the independent music scene.
