Lifted: A Winter Festival at Reno Public Market

Reno Public Market will host “Lifted: A Winter Festival” benefiting women of ski patrols. The festival will feature a variety of booths from local businesses, an opportunity to meet ski patrol dogs, a short film and panel discussion on women patrollers, a ski friend finder, demos, samples and a raffle booth The festival is presented by Alpinistas, a woman-owned outdoor store based in the Reno–Tahoe area, dedicated entirely to outfitting women who hike, climb, ski, and explore. Other sponsors include Women of Patrol, Ski Mt. Rose, Patagonia. Kari Traa and Mammut.
