The holiday season officially kicks off as Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale hosts the annual Get Lit celebration on Thursday, November 15th, 2018 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm at Esplanade Park in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. This annual event is the launch of Light Up Lauderdale – the ten-week celebration of glittering holiday lights along the Riverwalk.
Presented by Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale in association with the City of Fort Lauderdale, Get Lit is a family friendly event that includes live holiday musical performances, Santa and his sleigh, train rides, kid crafts, vendors and more. Elected officials will also be on hand to do the official tree lighting ceremony and usher in the holiday season. The event is free and open to the public.
