"Lipstick Wars" serves as a vibrant platform that elevates the voices of talented women and girl poets of color, empowering them through the transformative art of slam poetry, engaging workshops, and captivating storytelling.

This event will unite exceptional slam poets from across the country, showcasing their unique perspectives through spoken word and honoring the silenced voices of domestic violence survivors in recognition of October's Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
