Local Roots Hard Kombucha Presents Cali-RAD Reggae BrewFest

The all-day music festival will showcase more than 10 SoCal reggae bands, including: E.N Young Skyler Lutes Tomorrows Bad Seeds Kat Hall Lakedub Synrgy Indica Roots Beech City Kiki “Kayamon” Curiel Dylan Keawe In addition to the live music, there will also be art, jewelry, and clothing vendors, as well as food, beer and hard kombucha for purchase. The event is for all ages; however, persons must be 21+ with valid ID to purchase alcohol. Tickets are $35 (between Aug. 3-27), and $40 at the door. A VIP experience is also available for $125 and includes access to VIP lounge with private bar (2 Free Drink Tickets, per VIP attendee), direct view of the stage, gift bag, and private tour of the brewery. All proceeds from this event will go to CureDuchenne, a California-based 501c3 nonprofit organization committed to improving the lives of everyone affected by Duchenne through accelerating research to find the cure, improving care and empowering the Duchenne community. Owned, brewed, and operated by cousins – Ryan White and Joe Carmichael – Local Roots will offer exclusive food and drink specials at the event in their new 7,500-square-foot space (2,000 indoor and 5,500 outdoor patio) on the border of Vista and Carlsbad. The taproom has 30-plus flavors on tap – including favorites, such as Cali Mule, Blood Orange Mimosa, Strawberry Mojito, Purple Haze, Island Vibes, Mai Tai, and a specialty Hop ‘N Citrus, collaboration with Second Chance Brew Co. – along with experimental hard and non-alcoholic kombucha options, always pushing the envelope of better-for-you organic alcohol.
